How it looked at Vestergaard in 2007. After 8 years of work and investments we are ready to open the museum and summer pension in springtime 2016. The photo serie below illustrates the major changes at »Carl’s Farm« where a stable, barn and machine shed have changed to 240 square meter museum. Here you can imagine how life was at the archipelago through centuries and onboard the training ship »Fulton«. Guests at Skarø Summer Pension are welcome to use the collections and facilities of the museum for free. You can hear about captain Mogens Frohn Nielsen who helped more than 700 young people to get a better start in life. After a stay at Fulton for about one year in Danish and Norwegian waters they were better prepared. You can take a walk and enjoy the atmosphere of the 15-meter replica of »Fulton« with »Skipper’s Cabin« at the quarterdeck. Look at pictures from bottom.
